Thank you so much, all. I had no idea how much comfort my boys would get from these comments. When Dusty died, one of their concerns was, "no one cares." (I think they felt their grief so acutely, yet were aware of the fact that for the rest of the world, life goes on.) I showed them my original post, about Compassion, and they were thrilled with the outpouring of support, some from people they hadn't even met. That's what gave me the idea for this post. You have brought untold comfort to the hearts of little boys.
Aww I'm sorry to hear that Jen...hope you and the boys are doing ok
ReplyDeleteAwwww. I hope the kids (and you!) are doing ok.
ReplyDeleteWishing you and your family peace.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about your kitty. I hope you are all doing OK.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry, Jenny. It's hard to lose a pet, especially for the kids. Hope they have fond memories of Dusty.
ReplyDeleteHow sad. I love my dog and so do my boys. She brings so much joy to our family. What a loss, especially around the holiday season.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry too. You have our sympathy.
